Sheldon woman injured in Vernon County crash

On Monday April 3rd around 7:40 a.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County along with Vernon County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on Route B in Sheldon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2015 Kia Soul driven by 23 year old Leigh M. Newcomer of Sheldon, Missouri ran off the roadway and struck a ditch.

Leigh M. Newcomer sustained minor injuries in this accident and she was transported by ambulance to Nevada Regional Medical Center for treatment.
