The Harrisonville Royal Regiment will host its annual invitational tomorrow at Memorial Stadium. The competition will feature 13 bands, along with a performance by the Royal Regiment in exhibition at 5:15 p.m. Bands will begin competing at 1 p.m. and include Midway, Lexington, Lafayette County, Odessa, Van Horn, Raytown South, Fort Osage, Smith Cotton, Ray-Pec, Belton, Shawnee Mission South, Oak Park, and Liberty. Awards will be at 5:45 p.m.
Admission is $10 for adults (12 and over) and $5 for children and seniors (65+). Children ages three and under are free. Airgrams may be purchased for $4. A shuttle will be available from Harrisonville High School to the stadium. If spectators are paying with a credit/debit card there will is $1 fee. That payment option will only be available at the stadium. Spectators can buy entry tickets at the high school prior to getting on a shuttle bus.
