Have a safe 4th of July holiday

With Independence day this weekend, lots of folks are planning get togethers that may include shooting fireworks. According to Adrian Fire Chief Gary Dizney, even the best planned events can end badly. Most often, the improper use of fireworks are the cause-holding a firework that should not be held or improper placement that results in fireworks falling over. Advice? Parents should always monitor children or offer to help them. Better yet, do not let young children handle fireworks. Always keep a bucket of water or garden hose handy as our grass is getting quite dry. Be safe and enjoy the weekend!
