Paula S. Jackson, 66, of Adrian, Missouri, formerly of Harrisonville, Missouri, died Friday, August 27, 2010 at her home in Adrian. Funeral services will be 10:00am Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri. Burial in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00pm Tuesday at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville. Contribution to the American Cancer Society. Paula was born October 18, 1943 in Harrisonville, a daughter of Paul V. and Alva M. (Simmons) Miller. She was a life long Harrisonville area resident. She was united in marriage to Robert S. Jackson on August 30, 1971 in Carthage, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Jeffery Jackson, and a brother, James Miller. Paula is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Jackson, of the home. Two sons, Jim Stratton, Harrisonville, and Steve Jackson, Harrisonville. Two brothers, Paul "Dick" Miller, Adrian, and David Miller, Butler, Mo. and a sister, Linda Long, Harrisonville. Six grandchildren and a great granddaughter.

Adrian woman injured in accident near Sedalia
Lisbeth E. Clark of Adrian received minor injuries this morning when she lost control of her 2000 Harley Davidson while attempting to exit from northbound U.S. 65 to eastbound I-70 north of Sedalia. The motorcycle ran off the left side of the roadway and overturned, ejecting the rider. She was taken to Fitzgibbons hospital in Marshall for treatment and was released this afternoon.
