In a few weeks, Bates County Live will provide video of a demonstration a herding dog's abilities trained at the Knox farm.

Youth hunting course coming in October
Area youth will again have the chance to participate in a youth hunter education course on October 1st and 2nd. The two day course is for those age 11 and older will be held at the Butler Grade School library; participants must attend both days to get certified. The course must be completed for anyone born after January 1st, 1967 in order to purchase a firearms hunting permit.
