Muddy conditions postpone barrel races again
The Adrian Bit & Spur Club High Point Open 4D Barrel Race scheduled for September 25 has been postponed. Races #2 and #3 of the series will be October 2 starting at 2 pm. Finals are still scheduled for October 16.
Obituary - James Daniel Hacker
Funeral services for Jim Hacker will be 1 p.m. Monday, September 27, 2010 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri with Pastor Ron Dunlap officiating. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 5-7 p.m. at Schowengerdt Chapel. Burial in Newton Burial Park in Nevada, Missouri. Contributions to Jim Hacker Memorial Fund.
James “Jim” Daniel Hacker, age 78 of Butler, Missouri died Friday, September 24, 2010 at Bates County, Hospital in Butler. He was born May 26, 1932 to Howard and Angie Naomi Palmer Hacker in Nevada, Missouri.
Jim is survived by his wife of 58 years, Rita Hacker of Butler, Missouri; two sons, Larry Hacker and wife Loretta and Ken Hacker and wife Alice all of El Doroado Springs, Missouri; one daughter, Donna Thurman and husband Randy of Butler, Missouri; three brothers, Bob Hacker and wife Carol of Nevada, Missouri, Bill Hacker and wife Margie of El Dorado Springs, Missouri and Dick Hacker and wife Sandy of Nevada, Missouri; one sister, Bonnie McDaniel and husband Cliff of Nevada, Missouri; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Tom Hacker; and one sister, Sue McDaniel.
