Last election update for the evening...
As previously mentioned, a problem with the system that uploads electronic votes has temporarily delayed the ability to get a final tally on votes in the Bates County races. Rest assured, no votes were 'lost'; however the County Clerk's office may very well be working into the wee hours of the morning as they manually count those votes and add them to the totals.
Bates County Live will post the final results as soon as they are available, however we are providing a couple of links you can monitor as well:
The official election results website of the County Clerk www.BatesCounty.net/11-2-10_results.htm
The state website for all election results, including Bates County www.sos.mo.gov/enrweb
It appears that other counties have been affected by the problem, which ultimately will delay results from around the state.
Again, we will provide updates as they become available.
