Obituary - Frankie Reynolds

Frankie “Ruth” Reynolds, 79, Butler, MO died Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park, KS. Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Monday, November 15 at the Brookside Community Room in Butler with visitation from 4:00-5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.

Ruth was born October 6, 1931. She had lived in El Paso, TX most of her early life. She had lived in Butler for 25 years. She worked as an LPN for hospitals in Texas and Oklahoma before moving to Butler where she worked for Medicalodge of Butler. She attended Happy Hill Church of God in Butler.


Ruth is survived by one son, James Doe, Overland Park, KS; 5 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.

Miami Eagles in semifinal action tomorrow night

The Eagles will host St. Joseph Christian tomorrow night in semifinal action. The game will be broadcast on FM-92 with pregame at 6:45 pm and kickoff at 7; a win by the Eagles will advance them to the Championship game on Nov. 26th at Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis.

Free lunch or dinner for Veterans tomorrow at Inn Restaurant

Bates County Live has been informed that the Butler Inn Restaurant would like to show their appreciation to those men and women that have served our country by offering a free lunch or dinner tomorrow. Lunch will feature a tenderloin sandwich and fries; dinner will be a pork tenderloin with mash potatoes, gravy and a vegetable. Veterans will be asked for some type of ID, a simple photo in uniform will do. If you have questions, please contact the Inn Restaurant at 660-200-7143.

The Inn Restaurant will also be open on Thanksgiving Day 7 am to 3 pm with dinner by reservation only. Call the above number for more info.







Veteran's Day ceremony tomorrow in Butler
