Large turnout for Adrian clinic grand opening

The grand opening of the new Adrian Family Care clinic was held this afternoon with many stopping by to see the new facility. The offices officially opened for business on Feb. 28th with doctors Brewster and Bustle available to patients Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Those in attendance are treated to the grand tour along with hot apple cider and cookies. The grand opening will continue until 4 p.m. this afternoon- stop by, take the tour and meet the staff.

House fire in Passaic - update

12:27 p.m. - Adrian and Butler fire departments have been dispatched to a house on fire in Passaic just West of the Jiffy Break building. It is believed that that house is unoccupied at this time.


Update - The home that burned was the Mike and Charlene Cole residence. No injuries were reported to the family or pets in the home.

Open house for new Adrian Clinic tomorrow...

Superintendent to discuss bond issue on air

Rich Hill superintendent Glen Niffen will soon join the airwaves on FM 92.1 to discuss the bond decision facing voters in the upcoming election. Niffen will be available for questions and discussion on this important issue from 10:15 to 10:30 a.m. on March 30th. The call-in number at the station is 660-670-4191.

Butler tournament winds down

More results from the tournament held in Butler this week:

Archie girls beat the Humansville Tigers 48 to 39 and will now play Concordia in the Class 2 Tournament in Harrisonville on March 9th. The game will be aired on FM-92.1 the Bullet.

The Archie boys edged Midway with a final of 52 to 49 and will also play in the state tournament on March 9th in Harrisonville against Wellington.

The clock wound down with a 9 point buffer for the Adrian boys 68 to 59 against Lee's Summit Christian Academy. The Blackhawks will play the Stockton Tigers tonight in Butler. The game will be aired on FM 92.1 the Bullet starting at 8 p.m.
