Adrian mother has once in a lifetime experience

Taylor, Brooke and Bailey Hill
by Myrna Anthuis

Adrian, Mo. mom, Dawn Rafferty experienced something last night that most of us will not. All three of her daughters attended the Adrian High School prom.

Luke & Bailey

Her oldest daughter, Taylor Erinn Hill, 18, and a senior, attended her last prom with her escort, Nick Clemons. Nick is the son of Tom and Gerri Clemons of Amoret, Mo. Nick is a freshman at Pitt State and is an accounting major. After graduation, Taylor is enrolled at Johnson County Community College and aspires to be a chef.
Nick & Taylor

Dawn’s middle daughter, Brooke Allison Hill, 17, a junior was escorted by her boyfriend, Wyatt Cumpton. Wyatt is the son of Dale and LeeAnn Cumpton of Adrian.

Finally, her youngest, Bailey Rae Hill, 15, and a freshman was escorted by senior Luke Hough. Luke is the son of the late Ronnie Hough and his mother Sherri Hough of Adrian.

Wyatt & Brooke
The girls looked gorgeous and their mom was beaming with pride. Taylor wore a beautiful sapphire evening gown that was strapless and embellished with rhinestones. Taylor’s escort wore a black tuxedo with a matching blue vest. Brooke wore a corseted gown in purple that had sparkling rhinestones all over the bodice. Brooke’s date wore a black tux with complimenting lavender tie and vest. Bailey wore an adorable one shoulder yellow and black short dress with the perfect yellow shoes to set off her ensemble. Luke had envisioned this evening for a long time, and wanted everything to be black and yellow, Adrian’s school colors, for his last prom. So every last detail was met from his date’s dress, to his black tuxedo with yellow tie and vest and including his car for prom…a new yellow Camero with black racing stripes.

After getting ready at home, the girls and their dates left for the Promenade at school, followed by dinner and dancing at the Adrian Optimists Building then on to Dave and Busters for the After Prom.
