Visioning Committee meeting scheduled for Oct. 17th

Another Visioning Committee meeting will be held on Oct. 17 at 6 p.m. at Butler City Hall and all citizens are highly encouraged to attend to see the progress that has been made by the Drury University students.

All ideas are welcome and encouraged to help improve our community. Refreshments will be provided.

Editor's note - Attendance at the last two meetings has been low- support from the public would greatly help move the project forward. C'mon, lets see if we can get a record number attending the Oct. 17 meeting!

Some district 6 customers without water

It has been reported that some in the Public Water Supply District #6 near Butler are without water, possibly due to a water line break. We will attempt to get more information, including any boil orders, on line as soon as possible.

Update 7:51 p.m. - It is now being reported that the water is back on.
