Obituary - Chad Allen Dutter

Cremation memorial services for Chad Allen Dutter will be 1 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Victory Assembly of God Church in Adrian, Missouri with Reverend Lance Loughridge officiating. There will be no visitation. Contribution to the family.

Chad Allen Dutter, age 36 of Butler, Missouri died Friday, March 23, 2012. He was born August 26, 1975 to Doug and Judy Weeder Dutter in Des Moines, Iowa.

Chad is survived by his wife Kristi Dutter of Butler, Missouri; eight children, Kenna, Jonah, Aden, Madeline, Hannah, Audrey, Jake and Gavin; his father Doug Dutter of Iowa and two sisters, Samantha Gass of Pennsylvania and Dacia Dutter of Iowa. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Tough season opener for West Central Warriors

It was a full parking lot and with plenty of enthusiastic fans at the West Central Warriors season opener Saturday evening at Rotary Field in Butler, but it wasn't enough for a win. The Warriors fell to the Mid Missouri Regulators 40 to 18.

The next home game for the Warriors is set for April 7th with game time to be announced.

On this play shortly before half time the West Central Warriors (in black) offense appears to
 be holding the Mid Missouri Regulators for the moment, but overall the Regulators came
out on top with a final of 40 to 18. The next home game for the Warriors is set for April 7th.

Drexel again takes 1st place trophy in WEMO math challenge...

The WEMO Math Challenge was held at Drexel this year on Wednesday
March 21, 2012. Drexel took home the 1st place trophy for the third

Man dies from self inflicted gunshot

Chad Allen Dutter, 36 of Butler died at the Bates County Memorial Hospital Friday, March 23, 2012 as the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The incident occurred about 4:30 pm Friday at Dutter’s residence located at 205 E Fort Scott Street in Butler. Chad Dutter was transported by ambulance to the Bates County Memorial Hospital where he died at 5:43 pm Friday. The incident is being investigated by the Butler Police, Bates County Sheriff Department , Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Bates County Coroner, Gary Schowengerdt.
