Adrian first responders and Bates County EMS are on the scene of a single car accident on AA highway near the railroad tracks. Full extent of injuries is unknown at this time.

Island Mound marker placed on courthouse lawn

On Oct. 24th, a new stone marker was placed at the base of the
Island Mound statue commemorating the men who were killed
in the battle. Bates County Museum is privileged to have had
the honor  of placing this memorial as part of the 150th
