FOOD PANTRY COOKBOOKS
After collecting recipes from Bates County friends and neighbors, the Community Food Pantry is now selling personalized cookbook. All of the profits from the book will go to buy food for the pantry which serves almost 400 of Bates County’s neediest families and seniors.
Recipes feature the donors’ name so everyone can easily locate the favorite recipes of their friends and local residents. The cookbook contains 300 recipes and many pages of helpful cooking hints including ways to create a healthier plate.
To help out the pantry several area businesses have agreed to sell the books. You can buy copies in Adrian at Yoss Thriftway, in Rich Hill at Food Fair and in Butler at Country Mart or the Pantry.
The cookbooks will be $10.00 per copy and would make a great Christmas gift!
Please visit their Facebook page or call the food pantry with additional questions Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
