Butler Brush Pick Up
Citizens of Butler, as a result of the amount of brush that has fallen during the snow storm of February 21st, the City will be conducting a curbside brush pick-up to assist the residents and business owners of Butler.
The date set for the north side of Ft. Scott is March 11th – 15th and south of Ft. Scott will be March 18th – 22nd. The City will only pick up brush set at the curb and clean each street one time. Please note the City brush pile will be open Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00pm or the key may be obtained from the Police Department during the week.

Gracie Lee Mayer, 69, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Harrisonville Healthcare, LLC. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2013 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Adrian with visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Crescent Hill Cemetery in Adrian, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Gracie Mayer Memorial Fund c/o Atkinson Funeral Home, Adrian, Missouri.

Update on Drexel Playoff Basketball
Congratulations to the Drexel Bobcats as they march toward a state championship after their win on Saturday. Final score from Clinton was Drexel Bobcats 84 as they defeated Fair Play 67. They will play on Thursday, March 7th against Eminence at 3:20pm at the Hearns Center in Columbia. The Lady Bobcats also play Saturday afternoon and they were defeated; final score was Walnut Grove 64 and the Lady Bobcats 45.
Drexel will play at 3:20pm on Thursday. Good luck to the Bobcats.
