Possible Propane leak in Adrian

Adrian Fire is in route to a possible Propane Leak just East of Adrian on 18 Highway at the New Adrian football field. The maintenance men at Adrian High School reported a strong smell of what they believed to be Propane located in the ladies restroom by the concession stand. We will update this story when more information becomes available.

Rich Hill Community Choir Concert


The 4th Annual Rich Hill Community Choir Holy Week Concert will be 
held on Sunday, March 24 at 6:00 p.m. at the Rich Hill United 
Methodist Church. Join us for an evening of spiritual music as we 
enter into Holy Week and prepare for the resurrection of our Lord 
Jesus Christ. A carry-in fellowship dinner will follow the concert. 
All are welcome to attend. A free will offering will help to support 
area families in need.

BALLARD 2013-2014 ENROLLMENT NIGHT - TUESDAY, APRIL 9

• Parent and Student Attendance Required
In an effort to get students enrolled into classes that fit into each student’s five year plan, we will conduct enrollment for next year on Tuesday, April 9. Sessions will be 30 minutes long and will take place in the Social Studies room. Mr. Komer will start each session with brief Power Point outlining details of the schedule. Parents will then have a few minutes to discuss class selection with their children and make appropriate selections. Before leaving each student will turn in their schedule. Both Mr. Komer and Mr. Barton will be available during discussion-time to answer any questions you may have. Assigned times are below:


• 6:00 PM - Seniors
• 6:30 PM - Juniors
• 7:00 PM - Sophomores
• 7:30 PM - Freshmen
• 8:00 PM - 8th Grade
• 8:30 PM - 7th Grade

Years above are for grade entering next year
Parents enrolling multiple students should pick one session to attend; make sure all children being enrolled are present
Students must have a parent present to enroll

SCRUB SALE APRIL 3RD


 Bates County Memorial will host an April Scrub Sale. Everyone is invited to purchase from the large selection of Scrubs. The sale date will be Wednesday April 3rd from 7 am to 4 pm. They will accept check, cash and credit cards will be accepted. The hospital will not be responsible for exchanges or refunds. Exchanges or Refunds will be handled at the next scheduled Scrub Sale with Scrubs on site.

HELP FIND A LOST CANE

Please be on the look out for a cane lying in the road in the area of High Street, Lee or Summit Streets. This is in the North section of town in the area east of Mid-West Lumber. Ralph Jennings lost his cane from his scooter..... if found call Mr. Jennings at 660-679-3230 please.
