Fire Alarm on the Square

Butler Fire is in route to 4 West Ohio to  The Palace Hotel their  alarm company reported a fire alarm. A subject was cutting sheet rock a few feet from the fire alarm. Which in turn set off the alarm. There is no fire. The alarm has been re set.

Water Tower Project Finished

A crew from D.E.M. Enterprises in Wichita, Kan. finished painting the Belton water tower honoring Cass County native Tate Stevens just before sunset Sunday evening. It looks amazing and Tate Loves it.

Update on wreck at AA Highway









Missouri State Highway Patrol along with Bates County Ambulance and Bates County Sheriff and Adrian Police Department  responded to a 2 vehicle accident on AA Highway and the Outer Road to I-49 yesterday around 5pm. The accident occurred when the 1996 Ford driven by Bernice Angle 87, of Adrian Missouri was traveling Southbound and crossed in front of the Eastbound path of a 1997 Dodge driven by Booker D. Page 18, of Drexel Missouri. Both of the vehicles received extensive damage. The 2 passengers in Page's car Preston Rose 18 of Drexel and Ashley Corbin 17 of Adrian Missouri received minor injuries and was transported to Bates County Memorial Hospital by Ambulance. Everyone involved was wearing seatbelts.
