On April 20th at 6pm in the Rich Hill High School Gym The Rich Hill Optimist will host it's Charter Club Banquet. The tickets for this event needs to be purchased by April 15th and you can buy those at Food Fair, Trent's BBQ and or Swopes's Drive-Inn. All the proceeds to the dinner and Auction go towards helping the Youth in the Community. The meal will include for $20 a plate Thick-cut ribeye, Baked potato, green beans and dessert. Please try to attend this event and enjoy a good meal.

Mother/Son Dance
On Saturday April 27th there will be a Mother/Son Dance at the Old High School Gym starting at 6pm. This will cost $10.00 per couple and there will be photos available by Crystal. Come out and Dance the night way with mom.

Weekend Forcast
So Here's your weekend forecast! Another chilly night tonight as temperatures fall either side of 32 degrees across the region. Make sure to take precautions if you have sensitive plants outside.
Saturday: Warmer weather returns with temperatures in the 50s and 60s. Watch out near the Iowa/Nebraska border tomorrow night for a few thunderstorms.
Sunday: A big Spring warmup is expected as temperatures climb into the 70s and the wind is howling. The entire region will need to watch out Sunday afternoon as a cold front arrives and brings a decent chance for thunderstorms. A few of these thunderstorms may become strong!
Next week? No signs of a sustained warmup are in sight as rain continues from Monday to Wednesday. We're just warning you, but don't be shocked if you see the "snow" word show up in forecasts for the middle of next week.

RICH HILL FLAG CONTEST DEADLINE MAY 27TH
The City of Rich Hill will fly a new flag during the Fourth of July festivities. The design of the new City Flag will be determined
through a public contest.
If you are interested in submitting your artistic entry ,you must submit your entry to the Rich Hill City Hall or email your design to tperryman@richhill.com or fax your entry to 417-395-4555. The deadline will be May 27th.
The winning flag will be unveiled during the Fourth of July celebrations in Rich Hill. If you have any questions regarding the rules and regulations contact the Rich Hill City Hall.
