Historic May Snowfall Expected

A historic May snowfall will continue to impact the region through Friday morning. As you have already noticed, it's continuing to snow and sleet in some areas, and will begin to snow and sleet in other areas through the evening.

Here are the latest projected snowfall totals through Friday morning. It's likely that a narrow corridor of light to even moderate snowfall accumulations will be possible tonight. It's also possible that we may have our FOURTH occurrence of thundersnow during the past 3 months. Should this happen, some spots could receive higher snowfall totals.

Here's where we need your help. PLEASE help us spread the news on this potentially historic May snowstorm by "liking" and "sharing" this image with your friends, family and others. By local historical records, the last measurable snow in May for many of us, occurred way back in 1907!
