Teaching Certification Sessions Coming to Butler!‏

I am the Missouri state representative with the American Board and I will be in Butler on May 15th hosting information sessions for community members to learn how to attain their teaching certification.  I am including a press release for this event for your online community. This is a great opportunity for the people of Butler, and all surrounding communities, who may be interested in becoming a teacher in their local school districts but don't have the time, money, or means to go back to school, learn how we can offer them a much easier path to achieve this.
Best Regards

Does Snow in May mean a cool summer?

You may be wondering what kind of summer is in store after this unusually cold spring and last week's historic May snowfall. Does this cool pattern signal a cool summer ahead?

Not necessarily. Atmospheric patterns can change quickly, and the National Weather Service is forecasting another summer of above-normal temperatures for much of the country.

What happened in 1907, the only other time Kansas City recorded measurable snow in May? The remainder of the month saw several cold and warm spells, followed by a relatively normal summer. The temperature never rose above 100 that year. (Note each day's high and low is represented by a blue bar, with normal highs and lows in yellow. The record highs and lows are in red and blue).
