Fire Alarm At Wal-Mart

Butler Fire Department is in route to Wal-Mart on a apparent fire alarm in the Garden Center. Bates County Live will update this when more information becomes available.

Vernon County Inmates Clean Up After Bushwacker Days

Some Inmates from the Vernon County Jail were taken to the square today by Deputies to helped pick up trash and clean up after Bushwhacker Days events this weekend.

Adrian Manor Cake Auction to raise funds for the Culture Change program. Funds provide the Nursing Home residents  summer outings and activities. They  will have auctioneer, Perry Heckadon from Butler, auction the cakes that are donated. Adrian Manor will  have a certificate for a free 9 x 13 cake from Mona’s Cake Shop in Butler, Southern Care Hospice has stated the will donate a cake. They  hope to have many more donations as well. To donate cakes or other items contact Deidre Camereer at Adrian Manor Public Relations and Marketing.

God, Guns & Automobiles first commercial will air during the season premier of Mountain Men this Sunday night. After that, commercials will be on all of the A&E network stations starting Monday. Be sure you tune in to watch the commerical. Primetime Sunday Night During Mountain Men Premier.

#37 / 2006 Ford CVPI with 116,000 miles on it.  Has front end damage.  Needs new transmission.  CURRENTLY OUT OF SERVICE INDEFINANTLY

#38 / 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe not replacing at this time.

#39 / 2005 Ford CVPI, purchased new in 2004, with 84,000 miles on it.  Has transmission problem.  

#40 / 2007 Dodge Charger, purchased new in 2006, with 79,000 miles on it. It will be used as a reserve car.

#41 / 2005 Ford CVPI, purchased new in 2004, with 72,000 miles on it.  Has had a new transmission installed that is still faulty. 

#43 / 2006 Ford CVPI, purchased new in 2005, with 90,000 miles on it.  Has load engine noise.

#44 / 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe not replacing at this time.

#45 / 2006 Ford CVPI, ex-highway patrol car purchased in 2008, with 110,000 miles on it. 

#46 / 2006 Ford CVPI, ex-highway patrol car purchased in 2008, with 101,000 miles on it.  

#55 / 2001 Ford CVPI with 130,000 miles on it.  It has interior issues and chassis problems. Currently used as the Code Officers vehicle since it is unfit for daily patrol duty.
