PAOLA FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR
Paola’s Fireworks Spectacular will be July 3rd at the Miola Lake in Paola. The Gates will be open at 4:30 and Fireworks will be at dusk.
This event relies on donations from individuals and businesses from the community. Donations will be taken at the gate.
Paola’s Fireworks Spectacular is sponsored by the City of Paola and the Paola Chamber of Commerce. It is also sponsored in part by Crown Realty.

Obituary - Charles William Maus
Charles William Maus 57 of Schell City Missouri, passed away Saturday. Arrangements are under direction of Lewis-Hoagland Funeral Home, Schell City, and services are scheduled at seven o'clock Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Memorials to a fund for the family are suggested.
Adrian Teenager Recieves Minor Injuries in Buchanan County Crash
Missouri State Highway Patrol along with Buchanan County Sheriff responded to a 2 vehicle accident Friday evening around 8:00pm on I-29 at Mile Marker 31.2. The accident occured when both vehicles was Southbound on I-29. When The 2011 Kia Sedona driven by Wanda G. Sproat, 40 of Adrian Missouri was slowing down due to traffic congestion and was rear ended by Taylor Carter 26, Of Omaha Nebraska. Both was wearing seatbelts and the cars recieved minor damages. A passenger in Sproats vehicle 13 year old Mickaeyll C. Sproat was taken to Heartland Reginal Medical Center by private vehicle with minor injuries.
