House Fire In Nevada



Around 10am today Nevada Fire Department was called out to a kitchen fire in a house on the 800 block of N.Ash Street in Nevada. The fire was quickly put out and there was no injuries.







UPDATE: Rollover in Cass County This Afternoon


Missouri State Highway Patrol along with Cass County Sheriff and Cass County EMS responded to a 1 vehicle rollover accident in the Southbound Lane of  I-49 1 mile South of 195th Street around 12:20pm. The accident occured when the 2006 Pontiac driven by 49 year old Susan K. Wilson of Lees Summit ran off the left side of the roadway struck a ditch and overturned several times before coming to rest on the roof. Wilson was taken to Research Hospital in Kansas City by Cass County EMS with serious injuries. The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by GT Tow.

UPDATE: Road Reopened in Cass County

291 Highway at Waters Road in Harrisonville is now back up and opened after being shut down because of a Gas Line Leak. All Emergency Units have cleared the scene and traffic is running smooth.
