Missouri State Highway Patrol along with Henry County Sheriff Department responded to a 2 vehicle fatality accident this morning around 8:45am on Missouri 13 Highway and Z highway in Henry County. The fatality accident occured when the 1999 Volkswagon driven by Marguerite E. Schmidt 67, of Deepwater, Missouri attempted to make a left turn and struck the 2013 Toyota Tundra driven by Edwin L. Crawford of Liberty, Missouri who was traveling in the left lane of Missouri 13. The Schmidt vehicle then traveled off the left side of the roadway crossed over the median and into the Southbound Lanes of 13 Highway. Mr. Crawford and a passenger in his vehicle recieved minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton. Mrs. Schmidt was pronounced dead at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital at 2140 hours.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Clinton animal shelter, or Holy Rosary School. The family would like to thank all of the nurses, physicians, and staff at Research Medical Center who cared for him until the last minutes of his life.
John Joseph Warmbrodt was born December 31, 1931 in Boonville, Missouri. He passed away peacefully August 16, 2013 at the age of 81. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Blanche Warmbrodt, and two sons, Chris and Mark Warmbrodt.
John was a proud veteran of the US Army. He earned a Masters Degree in Administration and spent the last 20 years of his career in the role of Superintendent of Montrose Schools in Montrose, Missouri. He touched the lives of many.
John was an avid sports fan, politically opinionated and loved his cat, Sweet. He never forgot and always loved his home town of Boonville, Missouri.
He is survived by his wife, Lee, who loved and cared for him for 56 years; his daughter Lynn and her significant other, Gary Narr; son Mitch and wife Karen; and his beloved grandchildren, Jade and Braden. Many friends will miss him and his sense of humor.

Funeral services for Ronnie Slover will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri. Visitation will be prior to services from 1-2 p.m. at Schowengerdt Chapel. Burial in Raymore Cemetery, Raymore, Missouri. Contributions to Slover Family or Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund.
Ronald “Ronnie” Blayne Slover, age 69 of Butler, Missouri died Sunday, August 18, 2013 at his home in Butler. He was born March 26, 1944 to Orville Clayton and Stella Lucille Turner Slover in Kansas City, Missouri.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Mary Pat Slover of Butler, Missouri; one son, Parrish Dean Slover of Kearney, Missouri; five daughters, Rhonda Jean Ruble and husband Patrick of Independence, Missouri, Mary Michael Lucille DuBray and husband Jeff of Raymore, Missouri, Erin Rebecca Eslinger and husband David of Butler, Missouri, Amanda Diane Slover of Butler, Missouri and Emilie Nicole Slover of Nevada, Missouri; 16 grandchildren, Zachary, Shawn and Megan Slover, Christopher Slover and wife Rachel, Heather Andrews, Alex Ruble, Emma and Elijah DuBray, Kaylee, Logan and Mollie Eslinger, Sara Howe, Sophie Slover, Cady Denk and Lyla Akers. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Tommy Slover; one sister, Pat Brown; and a sister-in-law, Tam Slover.
