UPDATE: Motorcycle Accident on 52 West Highway and K Highway
Around 5:25pm this evening Missouri State Highway Patrol along with Butler Fire and Rescue and Bates County EMS all responded to a motorcycle accident on 52 West Highway and K Highway outside of Butler. The accident occurred when the Honda Goldwing Motorcycle driven by Alfred A.Webb 69, of Butler Missouri was traveling Eastbound on 52 Highway and travelled off the roadway and struck a Highway sign. The bike then overturned ejecting the driver into the ditch. Mr. Webb received moderate injuries and was taken to Bates County Memorial Hospital by ambulance. The bike was totaled and towed from the scene by Adrian Tire and Lube.

The City of Butler electric crews are out trying to locate the source of the power outage. The power has been on and off all day long. Bates County Live will keep you updated with any current information on this situation.

Stolen Truck Found In Farmers Field

Bates County Sheriff's Department is responding to the finding of a stolen truck. The truck was stolen out of Drexel earlier in the week and was found today South of Amoret with the tires and wheels missing off of it. Update Power Outage In Butler
There is Several people without power in Butler area at this time. The City Of Butler Electric Crews are out and working on restoring the power as soon as possible. No time frame is available at this time. Bates County Live will update this when more information becomes available.
Electrical Pole On Fire
The Adrian Fire Department is in route to a Electrical Pole that is on fire at this time. The pole is located on 8th Street and 71 in Adrian. Bates County Live will update this when and if more information becomes available.
Update: Osage Valley Power Outages

The Osage Valley Electric Crews are continuing to work to restore power. Several lines have been successfully restored. There are several downed lines across the service area scattered from Freeman to Warsaw. Crews will work to restore main lines first to restore power to as many as possible first and then will continue to work on individual outages after main lines are restored.
