It will be located 9 miles WEST of Butler on 52, then south on county gravel rd. 9001, then 1 1/2 miles  to Burgess
Farms ... There will be a lot of signs so you can't miss us! Most prices will be negotiable.  pix are just a SMALL sample of what will be dragged out of shop and barn to be included in the sale!

MEDICARE CARD PHONE SCAMS IN BUTLER

We been informed of a scam going around our community. People are getting phone calls asking for Medicare information so you can be sent a new Medicare Card. Please do not give out this information. The call sounds legit, but be cautious of phone calls asking for personal information.
Those with elderly family members should contact them and remind them to not give out this information over the phone.

ATTENTION CITY WIDE GARAGE SALE PARTICIPANTS


Bates County Industries will accept all of your old clothing, including hats, purses, belts and shoes that do not sell during the September 7th Butler city-wide garage sale. After the sale, during the weekend, simply leave your donated items in the bins located on the west side of the building. If you need assistance with your drop-off, come to the office and BCI will be happy to help you with your donations.

Liquor License Reinstated At El Dorados Mexican Restuarant And Cantina



Come one come all to El Dorados Mexican Restaurant and Cantina. The liquor license has now been reinstated. After a long debate by the City Council they have decided to allow them to serve alcohol again effective immediately. Come on out to El Dorados for some good food and maybe even a margarita if you choose.

United States Flag And Missouri State Flag To Be Flown At Half Staff Tomorrow



All flags of the United States and Missouri at all State and government offices will be flown at half staff on 9/5/13

By order of the Governor, all flags of the United States and the flag of Missouri at all State and government offices will be flown at half-staff, on Thursday, September 5, 2013, from sunrise until sunset in honor of Private First Class Jonathon M.D. Hostetter who died while serving his country in Afghanistan.

Obituary - Thomas Earl Cady

Thomas Earl Cady 69 years old of Harrisonville, Missouri. and formerly Sheldon Missouri, passed away Sunday at Benchmark Healthcare, Harrisonville. Arrangements are under direction of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, and services are scheduled at two o'clock Friday afternoon at the funeral home with David Rohrabaugh officiating. Burial is planned in the Sheldon Cemetery.
