The Temperatures have fallen into the 40s to low 50s this morning behind a powerful cold front that has created a 40+ degree temperature spread over the central US.

This weather this weekend will be pretty blustery, especially on Sunday, as clouds and cool temperatures prevail. Don't be surprised to see a few sprinkles both days. Looking ahead to next week...the sun and 70s quickly return! Have a great weekend!

Weather Update: Possible Rain Heading Our Way

The Storms over western Missouri and eastern Kansas have weakened considerably. Areas near and south of KC may still see occasional downpours and some cloud-to-ground lightning, but the threat for damaging winds and large hail has come to an end.

What is left of these storms will reach the Brookfield/Marshall/Warrensburg/Butler areas around midnight....and the Kirksville/Moberly/Sedalia areas around 2 am (probably just showers by that point). Much cooler weather will move in for the weekend with highs in the 50s and lower 60s!
