Bates County Sheriff's Office Press Release: Search Warrant Served In Rockville

On 1/23/2014, the Bates County Sheriff’s Office and CNET Drug Task Force executed a narcotics search warrant at 411 North Washington Street in Rockville.  During the search warrant one subject took off running through the house to the bathroom.  That subject was able to get the door shut before being arrested.  Deputies then gave verbal commands to the subject to exit the bathroom where he complied and was taken into custody.  A total of three people were taken into custody.  Several items of drug paraphernalia and narcotics were also seized from the residence or on their persons.  The investigation stemmed from Undercover CNET Drug Taskforce Officers purchasing drugs from the residence.

This is the second time the Sheriff’s Office and CNET Drug Task Force has executed a search warrant on this residence.  On 06/3/13, two of the residents were taken into custody and charged with possession and distribution of a dangerous drug.

The recovered items will be submitted to the Crime Lab for testing.  Charges will be submitted to the Prosecuting Attorney once lab reports are returned. Bates County Live will update this when the names are released.
