Arkansas Woman Escapes Wreck With Minor Injuries

A Fort Smith, Arkansas woman suffered a minor injury Friday afternoon in a one-vehicle crash in Bates County. 17-year-old Lisa A. Selgelid was treated at Bates County Memorial Hospital, Butler. The Missouri Highway Patrol says the wreck happened about 2:30 p.m. yesterday on I-49 when the North-bound Toyota Sienna -- driven by Selgelid -- slid off the left side of the road, crossed the South-bound lanes of I-49, hit an embankment West of the highway and came to rest upside down.

UPDATE: One Vehicle Injury Accident On East 52 Highway

Around 1 p.m. this afternoon the Butler Fire Department along with Bates County EMS and Missouri State Highway Patrol and Bates County Sheriff's Department responded to a 1 vehicle injury accident on East 52 Highway 0.5 miles East of I 49. The accident occurred when the 2003 Kia driven by 45 year old Brenda D. Last of Independence, Missouri was traveling West bound on East 52 Highway and traveled off the roadway and struck a sign and then a fence. Both Brenda Last and a passenger in the vehicle Barry A. Last 45 of Independence Missouri received minor injuries in the accident and were transported by ambulance to Bates County Memorial Hospital. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Don's Tow of Butler Missouri.

The Butler Fire Department along with Bates County EMS and Missouri State Highway Patrol and Bates County Sheriff's Department is in route to a 1 vehicle injury accident on 52 Highway just East of I-49. There is reports of atleast one person injured in this accident. Bates County Live will update this when more information becomes available.

1 Vehicle Accident North Of Archie

The Adrian Fire Department along with Central Cass Fire Department is in route to a 1 vehicle that is off the East side of the roadway North of Archie 1/4 of a mile North of the Grand River Bridge. No reports of injures with that accident Bates County Live will update all of these wrecks when the information becomes available.
