2 People Ejected From Vehicle in rollover accident On I-49
The Missouri State Highway Patrol along with Bates County EMS and The Bates County Sheriff's Office responded to a 1 vehicle accident last night around 7:30pm in the Southbound lanes of I-49 and Mile Marker 126. The accident occurred when the 2002 Pontiac driven by Dominic R. Martello 30, Of Joplin Missouri lost control and veered off the right side of the roadway and overturned. Martello and a passenger in the vehicle Gary L. Busby 22, of Joplin Missouri were both ejected from the vehicle. Both were taken to Bates County Memorial Hospital with serious injuries and transfers are pending to Research Main Hospital in Kansas City,Missouri. The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Don's Tow of Butler, Missouri.
1 Vehicle Rollover Accident On I-49
Around 8:25pm last night The Missouri State Highway Patrol along with The Bates County Sheriff's Office and Bates County EMS all responded to a 1 vehicle rollover accident in The Northbound lanes of I-49 around mile marker 123.8.
The accident occurred when the 2006 Ford driven by Jeffery Culey 45, of Independence, Missouri was traveling NB on I-49 began to slide on the ice covered roadway and struck a gaurd rail overturned and came to rest in the median. The driver was taken by ambulance to Bates County Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries.

One Person Injured In Cass County Crash
One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident on March 1 in Cass County on Highway 7 three-tenths of a mile north of Rt. TT.
Nathaniel P. Kenyon, 22, St. Louis, wearing a seat belt, northbound in a 1992 Ford F-150, lost control of his vehicle on the ice covered roadway. The vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned in the median.
Nathaniel P. Kenyon experienced moderate injuries and was transported to the Cass County Regional Hospital. His vehicle was totaled and removed from the scene by Miller Towing. He had drivers insurance through American Family.
Missouri Highway Patrol Trooper R.J. Hastings investigated the accident and was assisted by the Cass County Sheriff’s Department.
3 people dead in Clinton Missouri Motor Vehicle Accident
The accident occurred when the 2007 Mazda M3S driven by 19 year old Jennifer N. Reeder of Springfield, Missouri was traveling Northbound on Missouri Highway 13 and crossed over the center line, side swiping the 2003 Toyota Salora driven by 65 year old Eugene A. Hagameier of Nixa, Missouri then striking the 2003 Chevrolet Impala driven by 49 year old Paul Stankus of Clinton, Missouri head on.
The crash took 3 lives Paul Stankus 49, Jennifer Reeder 19, and a passenger 20 year old Erin Hook of St. Joseph, Missouri. Mr Hagmeier wasn't injured in this accident and his vehicle was driven from the scene. All other vehicles was damaged and towed by Golden Valley Wrecker Service.

One Vehicle Rollover Accident South Of Butler

The Bates County Sheriffs Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and Butler Fire Department are all in route to a one vehicle rollover accident in the northbound lanes of I-49 just south of the West 52 overpass in Butler. There are no injuries reported with this accident. Please use caution if travelling in the area and watch out for Emergency vehicles.
