Obituary - Lynn Allen Fuller
Mass of Christian Burial for Lynn Fuller will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Butler, Missouri with Father Thomas Hermes as Celebrant. Visitation will be Monday evening, 5 – 7 PM at Mullinax Funeral Home (660-679-0009) in Butler. A rosary will begin at 7 PM. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Bates County Museum, or St. Ludger’s Historic Preservation Fund. Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.mullinaxfuneralhome.com.
Lynn
Allen Fuller, 66 of Butler, Missouri passed away June 13, 2014 at St.
Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Lynn was born July 11, 1947 in
Butler, son of Walter Samuel Jr., and Mildred (Herman) Fuller.
Lynn
was preceded in death by his parents, and daughter Lisa in 1976. He is
survived by his wife, Doris Fuller of Butler; daughters Melody Woo and
husband Justin of Raymore, Missouri, and Julie Fuller of Raymore;
grandsons Brandon and Aaron Woo; brothers Sam Fuller, III and wife
Beverly of Butler, Joe Fuller and wife Peggy of Butler; sisters Karen
Russell and husband Dwain of Butler, and Carol Ireland and husband Jack
of Nixa, Missouri; and Verna Kooker of Butler.

Video: Veterans Tribute Dedication
Highways, Hogs and Hillbillies hit the road...

The rumble of motorcycles of all makes, shapes and sizes could be heard round the Butler Square this morning as the 5th Annual Highway Hogs and Hillbillies ride got underway promptly at 10:00 a.m. This yearly event benefits the 27th Circuit Adult Recovery Court. ARC is an intensive 18 to 24 month program that returns drug offenders back to society as taxpaying citizens. Currently Bates County 6 persons participating.
Approximately 25 bikes left from the Butler Square and representatives from the ARC said more riders were to join the group in Clinton. This years planned 143 mile course took the riders on a scenic route through Bates, Henry and St. Clair Counties. Stops were planned along the way and the group enjoyed lunch at Sugarfoot Barbeque in Osceola.
The group arrived back in Butler late this afternoon where drawings were held for prizes.
D&D Fireworks about ready to Fire Up
D&D Fireworks located on 52 highway 11 miles West of Butler will be Opening Friday June 20, 2014 for all your firework needs. Our annual FREE Fireworks Display will be
Saturday June 28, 2014 at dusk. The local band Breakaway will be performing from 7 pm until firework show starts and for a hour after show. Hope everyone can join us for a fun filled evening.
