LOST DOG


This is PATCHES. She is lost and needs your help!!!!

She was staying with family on Illinois Street in Montrose and was spooked on the 4th of July by the fireworks. She is a freshly groomed shit-zu and was wearing a red, white and blue bandana when she ran off. We miss her very much and are offering a REWARD for her safe return.

Robert "Rob" Briggs, 56, of Cleveland, Missouri died Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Meadowview Heath Care in Harrisonville, Missouri. Services are pending at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville and service times and obituary will be updated when available.

Butler Teenager Seriously Injured In Overnight Rollover Accident


A Butler teenager was flown to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri with serious injuries after a one-vehicle rollover accident around 11:55pm Wednesday evening on 52 Highway two miles West of Butler.
  
The accident occurred when the West-bound 2002 Ford ran off the left side of the roadway,overturned and ejected the driver, 17-year-old Justen D. Waters, of Butler Missouri. 

The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Adrian Tow.

Visitation will be prior to services from 1-2 p.m. at Schowengerdt Chapel. Burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian, Missouri. Contributions to Adrian Calvary Baptist Church or Crossroads Hospice. 

Neil McGrade Morrow, age 74 of Adrian, Missouri died Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at his home in Adrian. He was born December 15, 1939 to Faye William and Evelyn Aileen Snyder Morrow in Adrian. 

Neil is survived by his wife, Carolyn Morrow of Adrian, Missouri; one son, Dale William Morrow and wife Teresa of Adrian, Missouri; two daughters, Willa Joan Domer and husband Greg of Greenwood, Missouri and Gayla Jean Morrow and friend Anthony of Adrian, Missouri; seven sisters; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Brenda Nelson.

Weather Update: Outlook the next 2 days


We're warming up as we head into the end of the week, and many areas could see mid 90s by Friday and Saturday. The humidity won't be as bad as what we saw last week though.

Those of you near and north of I-70 could see a few showers or storms late tonight and early Friday, but rain shouldn't be too heavy and we're not looking at any strong storms.

Clifford J. “Junior” Wood, 76 of Rich Hill, Missouri passed away July 8, 2014 at Heartland of Willow Lane in Butler, Missouri. Junior was born May 20, 1938 in Bates County, Missouri, son of Clifford Nevill and Jane Ellen (Shafer) Wood.

Junior was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Doris Wood of Rich Hill; daughter Connie Board and husband Larry of Vichy, Missouri; daughter Peggy Foster and husband David of El Dorado Springs, Missouri; grandchildren Lori Robbins (George), Ashley Arwood (Tyler), Andrew Entrikin (Tanya), Alec Entrikin (Megan Binford), and Kelli Beth Board; and great-grandchildren Wayne Dale Robbins, Glen Robbins, Alli Arwood, Brihanna Entrikin, Brooklynn Entrikin, and Keigan Binford. He also leaves behind one brother, Billy Wood and wife Joyce of Foster, Missouri as well as two nephews and one niece.
