Weather Update: Cooler Week Ahead

A bit foggy out there this morning, especially in central Missouri where rain from late Sunday allowed moisture to pool in the River Valleys overnight. More storms are expected to slide into Kansas and Missouri today as a cold front settles south through the region. Strong storms could develop south of the Missouri River by this afternoon, but the threat of severe weather looks very marginal. Otherwise, expect the cooling trend to continue through much of the work week as record low temperatures look possible Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, with afternoon highs wallowing around in the 70s.
