Bates County Sheriffs Office: Stolen Items Located

On September 7, 2014 the Bates County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri Highway Patrol executed a search warrant at 14989 NW County Road 221, Archie Mo, 64725.

Law enforcement located on the above mentioned property a 2008 Ford F250 Regency truck stolen from Over Land Park Kansas on June 2014. Bates County Detectives also collected multiple firearms from a trailer located on the property.

One of the firearms had the serial numbers removed. The Bates County Sheriff’s office will be working closely with The ATF in reference to this case.

One male suspect was arrest. Suspects name will be released at a later date. Charges are pending.

Bates County Sheriffs Office: Stabbing outside Butler

 Robin Dianne Meade

On September 7, 2014 Bates County Deputies responded to a residence just outside of Butler, in reference to a stabbing that had occurred. The victim had been stabbed in the leg. The Injury to the victim was not life threatening.

The suspect Robin Dianne Meade DOB 03-02-1963 of Garden City Mo is currently in the Bates County Jail on a $35,000 Cash or Surety bond for Burglary in the first degree and Assault in the second degree.
