Weather Updated: Heavy Rain Expected Tonight
We've already had several rounds of storms today, and more are on the way tonight and tomorrow. Some of these could again be strong to severe with large hail and perhaps some damaging wind gusts, but the bigger story is turning into very heavy rain potential.
Check out some of these potential rainfall amounts through tomorrow evening. A flash flood watch is in now effect for the areas most likely to receive heavy rain where 2" to 4" are possible, locally even higher. We are analyzing things to see if we need to bring the heavy rain back north a bit, but for now here is where we expect the heaviest rain to fall.
