Dennis Johnston was safely located just after 9:30 a.m., near 87th Street and Rhinehart Road in Kansas City, Mo. The Endangered Silver Alert that was issued this morning has been canceled! Thanks to everyone who shared the original post.

Weather Update: Rain Showers Decreasing Through The Day


It will be another cloudy and showery day again today, mainly south of I-70 with precipitation diminishing later in the day. A very strong storm system will move through the area Sunday and Monday. For those of you who aren't quite ready for winter, you're in luck, this system looks to bring another round of showers and storms with heavy rainfall possible. If it was February we'd be talking snow storm!

State of Missouri Endangered SILVER Advisory 

The Lee's Summit Police Department has issued an Endangered SILVER Advisory for a missing adult incident that occurred at 3643 NW Blue Jacket Drive Lee's Summit 10:15 PM on 10/09/2014. 

The endangered SILVER advisory missing adult is: 

Dennis Johnston, a white male, age 70, 6", 220 lbs, gray hair and blue eyes, last seen wearing a navy blue short sleeved shirt with plaid pajama pants and no shoes 

Diagnosed Medical Condition(s):  Dementia 

Brief circumstances regarding the Endangered Silver Person incident: 

Subject left his home on Blue Jacket Drive on foot at 10:15 pm 10/09/14. He was last seen at approximately 4:30 a.m. 10/10/14 outside the Truman Medical Center at 15555 Little Blue Parkway in Kansas City. He suffers from dementia.

Weather Update: Story Continues To Be Heavy Rain


Heavy rain will move back into the area tonight and continue across much of the region through the day on Friday. By the time rain ends late Friday, rainfall totals may reach 1-2 inches with locally higher amounts across portions of the area. The heaviest of the rain is expected to fall along and south of the I-70 corridor. A flood watch remains in effect until 7PM Friday for those areas.

Mass of Christian Burial for Bea Page will be 10:30 AM Monday, October 13, 2014 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Butler, Missouri with Father John Bolderson as Celebrant. Visitation will be Sunday evening, 5 – 7 PM at Mullinax Funeral Home in Butler (660-679-0009) with Rosary at 7 PM. Beatrice Elizabeth “Bea” (Heiman) Page, 85 of Butler, Missouri passed away October 9, 2014 at her home in Butler. Bea was born December 11, 1928 in Montrose, Missouri, daughter of Cornelius and Lucy (Hake) Heiman. She was united in marriage to Joe Donald Page, who preceded her in death January 28, 2013.
 
In addition to Joe, Bea was preceded in death by a daughter, JoAnne Page, and grandchildren Scott and Jennifer Harold; brothers Harold, Ted and Jim Heiman, and sisters Berniece Griggs, Rita Gibbens, and Evelyn Brownsberger. Bea is survived by her seven children: Mike Page and wife Barbara of Appleton City, Missouri; Patricia Johnson and husband Gene of Fort Scott, Kansas; Nancy Hedrick and husband Eddie of Butler; Jim Page and wife Sarah of Green Valley, Arizona; Jerry Page and wife Christine of Butler; Harley Page and wife Kori of Butler; grandchildren Becky Jones, Michael Page, Jennifer Page, Seth Harold, Joseph Hedrick, Jordan Page, Chance Hedrick, and Devon, Austin, Drew, and Alli Page; and great-grandchildren Tristen Chadd, Megan Jones, and Alden and Henry Hedrick; and brothers Jerome Heiman and Charles Heiman.

Nettie Pearl Gragg, age 92 of Cheyenne, Wyoming died Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Cheyenne Regional Hospital in Cheyenne. She was born November 21, 1921 to Arthur and Lucy Stelle Dunlap in Leslie, Arkansas.
