Full Obituary - Clark “C.A.” Moore

Clark “C.A.” Moore, 83 of Butler, Missouri passed away November 9, 2014 at Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Butler Presbyterian Church in Butler, Missouri with Pastor Mari Lyn Jones officiating. Visitation will be prior to services from 1-2 PM at the church. In fitting tribute, the funeral procession for C.A. Moore will pass around the Butler Square to his favorite music on the P.A. system en route to Oak Hill Cemetery. Clark A. “C.A.” Moore was born December 21, 1930 in Hume, Missouri, son of Clark A., Sr. and Beatrice Mildred (Gunset) Moore. He was a 1948 graduate of Butler High School and was united in marriage to Anna Louise Winegardner on November 23, 1950 in the Butler Presbyterian Church.

C.A. worked in the newspaper profession all of his life. He was a lifelong member of the Butler Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Alan; a sister, Donna Jean (Moore) Lisle and her husband, Bob. He is survived by his wife, Anna Moore of Butler; son Evin Moore and daughter-in-law June of Kansas City; daughter Julie Ann Dye of Garland, Texas; grandchildren Ashley Dickerson and Blake Dye, also of Garland; and sister-in-law Karol Winegardner of Manhattan, Kansas; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

On 11/09/14 around 10:35 a.m. The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested 28 year old Brooke A. Thompson of Archie, Missouri. She was arrested for 1) Possession of a controlled substance ( Methamphetamine) 2.) Speeding. She was cited and released.

Diana L. Werner, 61 of Harrisonville, Missouri passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 in Adrain, Missouri. Cremation, with no public services planned at this time. Diana Lynn (Gunderson) Werner was born September 11, 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of Marvin and Glenda (Grove) Gunderson. Diana was an extremely kind person who would help anybody in need. Her family describes that no matter what you went through, she always accepted you. “God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered, “Come to Me.”

Diana was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jeremy, daughter, Rebecca, and son, Robbie, as well as her step-father, James. She is survived by son Larry David Hawkins and wife Lisa; daughter Jennifer Schaller and husband Bruce; daughter Connie Cooper (Nick Carter); son Ryan Werner; son Glenn Werner, III; son Brandon Werner; 18 grandkids; and her former husband, Glenn Werner, Jr.; brothers Michael, Jimmy and Jeff; and sister Patty.

Daryl A. Trogdon, 72 of Wichita, Kansas passed away November 5, 2014 at Via Christi Hospital in Wichita. Daryl Ashley Trogdon was born December 27, 1941 in Council Grove, Kansas, son of Charles Warren and Roberta LaVonne (Eck) Trogdon. Because of his father’s teaching profession, Daryl grew up in the communities of Holton, Parsons, Spring Hill, Troy and Fort Scott, Kansas.

Daryl was a graduate of Fort Scott High School in Fort Scott, Kansas in the class of 1960. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1963-67 during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with friends – especially sharing camaraderie with fellow veterans. Daryl loved to travel, and enjoyed telling stories and jokes.

Daryl was a member of NALC Branch 21 U.S. Postal Union, as well as the American Legion.

Daryl was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents Charles Edward and Eula (Ward) Eck, and Wlater Conrad and Frona (McWilliams) Trogdon; his aunt Alsie Trogdon Manser; uncles Earl Newton Trogdon, Glenn Odell Trogdon, Roy Eck and C.W. Eck. He is survived by cousins Pamela Sue Harding and husband Charles of Grain Valley, Missouri; Glenda “Weezie” Trogdon Allen and husband Eldon of Butler, Missouri; Joyce Lee Joplin of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; an aunt, Gladys (Trogdon) Nesmith and husband Robert of Springfield, Missouri; an uncle-in-law Bryce Manser of Raytown, Missouri; and companion, Mary Lou McGinnis and her daughter Kelly Callison of Wichita; as well as former wife Doris Trogdon of Florida.

Adrian High School 1995 Class Ring Found

Found a 1995 Adrian High School Ring in a second hand store. The name on the ring is Jason and says Adrian High 1995, Also looks like a track symbol on both sides. We would really like to find the owner of this ring. If this is your ring contact us and we will get you back your ring.
