St. Clair County Sheriffs Office: Lowry City man arrested
On Feb. 17, Kayne Gonzales, 19, Lowry City, was arrested on two St. Clair County warrants charging him with a class C felony of domestic assault- second degree and a class B misdemeanor of property damage-second degree. The warrants were issued on Feb. 13 and stem from an incident on Nov. 24, 2014, when deputies were dispatched to a domestic assault on NE 700 Road, Lowry City. Gonzales allegedly punched an individual in the face after kicking the door in and entering the residence without permission. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.

St. Clair County Sheriff's report February 9-16
St. Clair County Sheriff's Office activity February 9-16, 2015
St. Clair County deputies responded to a variety of calls for service during the week of February 9-16. Sheriff Scott Keeler said deputies made several warrant arrests and took reports of burglary and theft.
Burglary complaint in Collins
On Feb. 15, a St. Clair County deputy took a burglary complaint on Coon Creek Street, Collins. Ashley Ebeling reported someone forced opened a door to her residence and several items are missing. Ebeling reported a 27” flat screen television, Nintendo Wii video game console with four controllers and two games, a Dell Laptop computer, and 100 miscellaneous music CDs missing. The total value of the items was estimated at $1,100.
Theft reported at Sugarfoot BBQ
On Feb. 13, a St. Clair County deputy took a report in reference to a theft at Sugarfoot BBQ, Highway 82, Osceola. Tyler Bryant reported a pressure washer, torch, and 20 lb. propane bottle were missing.
Possible stolen vehicle located
On Feb. 12, St. Clair County deputies were dispatched to SE 550 Road near T Highway, Osceola, in reference to a possible stolen vehicle located on the side of the road. The vehicle, a green Nissan truck, was located without any vehicle identification numbers, license plates, headlights, doors, grill, rear bumper, or back glass. Photographs were taken and the vehicle towed. The investigation is ongoing.
