Several out of control grass fires in the area

Several out of control grass fires are being reported in the area today. 

Please refrain from any outside burning as it is very dry and the wind is blowing strong. 

Our prayers are with the firefighters as they battle these fires.

Dorothy Mae Delozier, 88, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Golden Years Care Center in Harrisonville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with visitation from 10:00-11:00. Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery in Clinton, Missouri. The Henry County Sheriffs Office is attempting to locate a stolen 2- tone gray Dodge Ram pickup truck from the Windsor are this morning.

The truck has a Missouri License plate number of 9HG-732. If you see this stolen truck please contact your local law enforcement.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2015 at the New Covenant Fellowship Church in Garden City with burial in Austin Cemetery, Archie, Missouri. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 15 at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Austin Cemetery.
