REMINDER: Youth seat belt enforcement campaign this week

BUTLER, Mo - The Butler Police Department has received a grant from The Highway Safety Office for the Youth Seat Belt Enforcement Campaign. Under the Graduated Driver’s License law teens are required to wear their seat belts.

The Butler Police will be conducting extra enforcement patrol in the area of the schools during the week of March 15th – 31st. bcl420

Several out of control grass fires are being reported in the area today.

Obituary - Dorothy Mae Delozier

Dorothy Mae Delozier, 88, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Golden Years Care Center in Harrisonville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with visitation from 10:00-11:00. Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery in Clinton, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Harrisonville First Baptist Church, Blessed Trinity Hospice, Harrisonville, or Harrisonville Meals on Wheels. Stolen Vehicle out of Windsor

The Henry County Sheriffs Office is attempting to locate a stolen 2- tone gray Dodge Ram pickup truck from the Windsor are this morning.

The truck has a Missouri License plate number of 9HG-732. If you see this stolen truck please contact your local law enforcement.

Obituary - Catherine Erma Morgan

Catherine Erma Morgan, 85, Garden City, Missouri, died Thursday, March 12, 2015 at her daughter’s home in Pleasant Hill, Missouri. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2015 at the New Covenant Fellowship Church in Garden City with burial in Austin Cemetery, Archie, Missouri. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 15 at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Austin Cemetery.
