Position Objective:
To render prompt, courteous and reliable cashier and receptionist services to member-owners, assuring the maintenance of sound and exact consumer payment records for the cooperative.
Duties and Responsibilities:
a.       Receives bill payments over the counter and from depositories
b.      Reconciles daily cash/check and payment stub totals
c.       Balances cash drawer daily
d.      Creates service orders
e.      Handles transactions associated with petty cash fund
f.       Participates in safety meeting and training programs as required
g.      Participates in annual meeting as required
h.      The list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and can be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management deem necessary.
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma and one year of general office experience and computer knowledge is required. Attention to detail and good oral communication skills required. Applicant must have knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
Physical Demands:
Works in a climate controlled environment. Job requires sitting, standing, walking, bending and reaching. Also requires good finger dexterity, repetitive motions with hands and fingers. Requires ability to perform close work, have good vision and hearing.

St. Clair County Sheriffs Office: Osceola woman arrested

Julia Mitchell
On May 1, Julia Mitchell, 53, was arrested at a residence on NE 477 Road, Osceola, on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a class C felony of possessing a controlled substance. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety.

The charge stems from an incident on April 17 when St. Clair County deputies initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle Mitchell was a passenger in. During the investigation a glass pipe commonly used to smoke methamphetamine was located in a plastic sack that allegedly belonged to Mitchell. 


The Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdiction Drug Task Force assisted with the investigation.

St. Clair County Sheriffs Office: Warrant issued by Missouri Department of Corrections Board of Probation and Parole

On May 1, Rachael Wheatley, 36, Springfield, was arrested in Lowry City on a no bond warrant issued by Missouri Department of Corrections Board of Probation and Parole for absconding supervision.

St. Clair County Sheriffs Office: Osceola man arrested

On May 3, Rocky Willis, 37, Osceola, was arrested at a residence on NE 477 Road, Osceola, on several active warrants from St. Clair County. Warrants included a probation violation on an original felony charge of possessing a controlled substance, failing to appear in court on two misdemeanor charges of passing bad checks, and misdemeanor charges of driving while revoked or suspended, no insurance, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Total bond is $1,150 cash only and $2,500 cash or surety.

Obituary -Stanley Fisher Jeppesen

Stanley Jeppesen
Stanley Fisher Jeppesen, of Butler, Missouri was born September 30, 1929 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Stanley Stahl and Mary Gladys (Fisher) Jeppesen. He departed this life on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at the Bates County Memorial Hospital, Butler, Missouri at the age of 85 years and 7 months.

Stanley is survived by his wife, Louise Jeppesen of the home; a son, Floyd Jeppesen and wife Karen, St. Joseph, Missouri; two daughters, Sheryl McKinney-Collins and husband Lester, Raymore, Missouri, Kathy Seutter and husband John, Frankenmuth, Michigan; 4 step-children; 8 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Choy, Honolulu, Hawaii, Ila Sullivan, El Cajon, California; other relatives and friends.


Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2015 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
