Deepwater woman arrested on Henry County Warrant

Theresa L. Dayton
On 5/14/15 around 12:55 p.m. The Missouri State Highway Patrol in Henry County arrested 48 year old Theresa L. Dayton of Deepwater, Missouri.

She was arrested on 1.) Felony Henry County warrant - Receiving Stolen Property. 


Mrs. Dayton was booked into the Henry County Jail with a 5K Cash or Surety Bond.

Missouri State Highway Patrol: Windsor man arrested

Jeremy D. Heany
On 5/14/15 around 3:50 p.m. The Missouri State Highway in Henry County arrested 37 year old Jeremy D. Heany of Windsor, Missouri.

Mr. Heany was arrested on 1.) Felony Henry County Warrant-  Receiving Stolen Property- 3rd offense. 


He was booked into the Henry County Jail and placed on a 10K Cash/Surety bond.

Obituary - Leslie Dean Mincks

Leslie Dean Mincks, 87, Freeman, Missouri, died Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services are pending at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri. Service times and complete obituary will be posted when available.

Vernon County Sheriffs Office: Suspect caught during undercover stolen property sting

Two people were taken into custody
and a  briefcase was recovered

Two people were taken into custody early Thursday morning following an undercover surveillance operation. Detectives received information about a briefcase belonging to a car dealer that contained over 30 vehicle titles and keys that had recently been reported stolen. When the new information was received, a surveillance detail was set up in Nevada around 12:30 am Thursday.

Undercover deputies followed a suspect on foot for a short time and then using unmarked cars, was able to locate the vehicle they believed contained the stolen brief case around 1:30 am driving through Nevada. In an attempt to keep from getting into a pursuit, deputies trailed the vehicle until it stopped at the Casey’s store on Osage where the car was surround by marked patrol cars that were waiting a nearby. Two people were taken into custody at that time and the briefcase was recovered.

A Sheriff’s Office K-9 was able to locate what is believed to be methamphetamine during the incident. The names of the suspects have not been released pending the filing of formal charges. The briefcase containing the car titles was released back to the owner late Thursday morning.

St. Clair County Sheriffs Office: Arrest warrant issued for Collins man

Kenneth Collins Jr.
On May 12, an arrest warrant was issued for Kenneth Collins Jr., 31, Lowry City, charging him with a class D felony of property damage-first degree and a class C felony of tampering with a motor vehicle. Total bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety. 

The charges stem from an incident on Nov. 3, 2014 when Collins allegedly caused damage to a vehicle owned by Thomas Timberlake. 

Mr.Collins allegedly kicked and jumped up and down on it caving in the hood, roof, trunk lid, and also breaking the front windshield.
