Obituary - Charles William Mohr III

Charles William Mohr, III “C.W.”, 27, of Adrian, MO passed away May 21, 2015. A visitation will be held Tuesday May 26, 2015 from 6pm to 8 pm at Mullinax Funeral Home, Butler (660-679-0009). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, May 27th at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Butler, MO. Burial will be in Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian, MO. Contributions are suggested in lieu of flowers to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Messages of condolence may be left for the family at www.mullinaxfuneralhome.com.
C.W. was born July 17, 1987 in Harrisonville, MO to Charles “Chuck” and Dorothea “DeDe” Mohr. C.W. graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Animal Health. He worked for Pet Vet Animal Hospital in Harrisonville. C.W. was united in marriage to Christine Jenkins in 2010. A daughter was born in August of 2012. C.W. loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and continued his passion for animals through farming and the development of Mohr Family Farm. This last year C.W. dedicated his time to reading and enjoying his beloved daughter Annalise. 
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Charley Mohr. C.W. is survived by his wife Christine and daughter Annalise, his sisters; Harley and Cheyenne Mohr, parents Chuck and DeDe Mohr of Marceline, MO, grandmother Jeanne Mohr of Ballard, MO. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, and cousins. C.W., a loving husband and father, will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Food pantry distribution this weekend

The Community Food Pantry of Butler's mass food distribution is tomorrow morning, Saturday May 23. Here is a sampling of the produce we will have; cabbage, blueberries, cherry tomatoes, apples and onions. If you have a food need, please join us with proof you live in Bates County. The Food Pantry is located at 709 W. Ohio, Butler.

Obituary - Rhonda Jean Linder

Rhonda Jean Linder, 52, Garden City, Missouri, died Thursday, May 21, 2015 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri with visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Wills Cemetery in Peculiar, Missouri.

Possible Natural Gas Leak In Butler

The Butler Fire Department along with Liberty Utilities is in route to a residence at 210 N. Prospect Street in Butler on a report of a Natural Gas leak outside of a home.
