UPDATE: Photos of Decorative Fence Stolen From Deepwood Cemetery

On June 9, 2015, Nevada Police received a report that a section of decorative wrought iron fence had been stolen from a grave site in Deepwood Cemetery, Nevada Mo. The three foot tall iron fence enclosed a family plot and had been left untouched for about 125 years.

The fence was carefully unbolted by persons unknown, sometime between June 6-7, 2015. Deepwood Cemetery association is offering a reward for the recovery of the property.

Attached are two photos. One is of the family plot with the missing metal fence. Another is of a plot beside it that also has a metal fence. The fence stolen is not the exact design as the fence shown, but is being used as an exemplar photo.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Nevada Police Department at 417-448-2710.
