Heavy rains overnight make travel dangerous

While we haven't had an official rainfall amount reported (at least 4 inches), it is apparent that we had heavy rains overnight caused flash flooding in many low lying areas around the county.

The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill is advising that we are still under a flash flood watch until 1 PM today.

We do strongly recommend that you limit travel until the water recedes; never drive through high water.
