Bates County Memorial Hospital: Stocklaufer honored with retirement party

Ed Hannon, CEO, presented Martha with a beautiful pendulum wall clock.
After 33 years of service to Bates County Memorial Hospital, Martha Stocklaufer was honored with a retirement party on June 30, 2015. Martha began her employment in 1981 as a Nursing Assistant in the Nursing Department. After several years of providing direct patient care, Martha transferred to the Surgery Department. Martha can be described as “energetic, always smiling, always busy, pleasant to be around.” She exemplifies the work ethic and positive behavior that organizations desire in its employees.

While Martha’s presence will be missed in the hospital, her bubbly personality will still be a delight as you may see her throughout the community. While Martha was always busy at work, she is very busy in her personal life with quilt making, blackberry picking, to mud-running, to Relay for Life fundraisers and spending time with her family – just to name a few. Her co-workers at BCMH will miss her. On behalf of the hospital and Board of Directors we wish you a great retirement.
