St. Clair County Sheriffs Office: Court Case Update

On July 15, 2015 Rebecca A. Trowbridge was sentenced to serve five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections with the court retaining jurisdiction in the case under Missouri Revised Statutes 559.115. 

She plead guilty to the charge Class C Felony Possession of Controlled Substance.

The charge stems from an incident on Sept. 27, 2014 when a St. Clair County deputy was on patrol and recognized a passenger in a vehicle with an active arrest warrant in the rear parking lot at Shelby’s, Lowry City. 

Trowbridge was driving the vehicle and during the investigation she was found to be in possession methamphetamine.

Weather Update: Weekend Weather Outlook

We've got a little bit of something for everyone. Except for you winter lovers out there since, you know, it's July. It's going to be a hot start to the weekend with afternoon temperatures in the upper 90s and heat indices as high as 109.

 Similar conditions are expected Saturday. Then we'll see a good chance for thunderstorms on Sunday, with a few severe storms possible as well.

REMINDER: Butler Aquatic Center Closed July 18th

The Butler Aquatic Center will be closed on Saturday, July 18th for swim team finals.
 
The pool will reopen on Sunday, July 19th with normal hours.

Adrian School Board Meeting Postponed

The Adrian R-III School Board Meeting will be postponed to Tuesday July 21st at 7:00pm.

Vehicle Fire on Northbound I-49 and Passaic Exit

The Butler Fire Department is in route to a vehicle fire on Northbound I-49 and Passaic Exit.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is on scene of the vehicle fire, the vehicle is said to be a black Oldsmobile car that is engulfed in flames.

Attempt to locate Joplin Police Department

The Joplin Police Department is seeking the arrest of Josh Harrison, 41, Carthage, MO. Harrison defrauded an elderly Joplin resident of $7,146. 

Harrison currently has a Jasper County Felony Warrant for Financial Exploitation of an Elderly Person, stemming from this case. In addition, he has a felony warrant from Barry County for Financial Exploitation of an Elderly Person. 



If anyone has any information on Harrison's whereabouts please call your local authorities or the Joplin Police Department.

St. Clair County Sheriffs Office: Warrant Arrest

On July 15, Rory Horne, 47, Buffalo, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with a class D felony of non-support-total arrears in excess of 12 monthly payments due under order of support. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety. The warrant was issued on June 4 and stems from an incident on Aug. 28, 2009.
