Obituary - Bradley Shobe

Funeral services for Bradley Shobe will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri. Visitation will be prior to services from 1-2 p.m. at Schowengerdt Chapel. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Missouri. Contributions to family.

Bradley Westley Lee Shobe, age 30 of Butler, Missouri died Wednesday March 16, 2016 at Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler. He was born May 19, 1985 in Butler.

Bradley is survived by his wife, Anna Shobe of Butler, Missouri; a son, Nathaniel Russell Lee Shobe of the home; his mother, Kathleen Shaw of Kansas City, Kansas; his father Raymond Jacobs of Butler, Missouri; two sisters, Margaritta Ratliff of Joplin, Missouri and Jackqueline Mitchell of Atlanta, Georgia; and an uncle Willard Shobe of Butler, Missouri; and nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Margaret Shobe; and mother-in-law, Mary Wisdom.

Obituary - Rosalie A. Letchworth

Rosalie Ann Letchworth, age 64 of Rich Hill, Missouri died Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at her home. She was born January 29, 1952 to Harry Francis and Martha Ann Sams Letchworth in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Rosalie is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Strope and Kelsey Clintsman both of Springfield, Missouri; and one grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Francis Lee Letchworth and an infant brother.

Misdemeanor warrant arrests in St. Clair County

On March 2, Michael Lindsey, 31, Deepwater, was arrested on a Clinton Police Department warrant for failing to appear in court on an ordinance violation. Bond is set at $250 cash only.

On Feb. 29, Michael Emerick, 40, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging him with class A misdemeanor domestic assault-third degree. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety. The charge stems from an incident the previous evening when St. Clair County deputies responded to a physical domestic call in progress on NE 309 Road, Osceola. The investigation revealed Emerick allegedly struck a family member above the left eye with a closed fist. He was taken into custody and transported to the St. Clair County Jail.



Felony St. Clair County Sheriffs Office warrant arrests

On March 2, Micky Kottwitz, 40, Osceola, was arrested at the St. Clair County Courthouse on two outstanding warrants from other jurisdictions. Kottwitz was arrested on a Henry County warrant charging him with class C felony possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $10,000 cash or surety.  He was also arrested on a Boone County warrant for failing to appear in court on a class A misdemeanor charge of harassing communication from the Columbia Police Department. Bond on that charge is set at $5,000 cash or surety.

On March 1, Melissa Collins, 33, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with class C felony possession of a controlled substance and class A misdemeanor unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety. The charges stem from an incident on Feb. 19 when St. Clair County deputies arrested Collins on another felony warrant for possessing a controlled substance. During her arrest a plastic bag containing a white powder substance and a piece of tin foil containing a yellow rock substance were located in her possession. The items field tested positive for methamphetamine. Drug paraphernalia and a misdemeanor amount of marijuana was also located.

On Feb. 29, Dorothy Taylor, 48, Springfield, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with class C felony possession of a controlled substance. Bond is set at $15,000 cash or surety. The charge stems from an Osceola Police Department investigation in February 2015.
