Updated Obituary - Tonie Lynn Clark

Tonie Lynn Clark
Tonie Lynn Clark age 49 of Urich, Missouri departed this life Friday, July 1, 2016 at her home near Urich.

Tonie is survived by her husband, Bill Clark of the home; two children, Kyle Underwood and wife Leanna, Kansas City, Missouri and Chelsea Underwood, Independence, Missouri; 4 grandchildren, Eli, Ellie, Lily and Aribelle; her mother and father, Barbara and Donald Dunlap; brother, Sonny Craig, Pleasant Hill, Missouri; three sisters, Julie Craig, Peculiar, Missouri, Tracie Wells, Belton, Missouri, Kelly Dunlap, Kansas City, Missouri; ex husband, Dale Underwood, Sugar Creek, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 7, 2016 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri with Cremation to follow.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 7, 2016 at the funeral home.

Two injured in Vernon County rollover accident

Around 3:55pm this afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on Route Y around 1 mile Northeast of Harwood, Missouri. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2007 Ford F-150 driven by 49 year old Duane E. Sellers of Schell City, Missouri traveled off the roadway and struck a culvert before overturning.

Mr. Sellers sustained serious injuries in this accident and was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri for treatment.

A passenger in Mr. Sellers vehicle 41 year old Marsha B. Barnes of Schell City, Missouri sustained minor injuries in this accident and she was transported to Nevada Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Steward's Auto of Eldorado Springs, Missouri.

Isaiah Keith Jones
Isaiah Keith Jones, 5, of Peculiar, MO died June 29, 2016 after a hard fought battle with Vanishing White Matter Disease. He was born on October 13, 2010 in Kansas City, MO to Bethany Jones. 

Isaiah is survived by his parents, Bethany Jones and Andrew Baer; his maternal grandparents, Don and Teresa Jones of Peculiar, Missouri; his paternal grandparents, Rex and Jane Baer of Harrisonville, Missouri; his maternal great-grandparents, Pat and Charlie Jones of Republic, Missouri and Kay and Porter Leffingwell of Marionville, Missouri; paternal great-grandparents, Cletus and MaryAnn Hempen of Breese, Illinois; other relatives and many friends. A special thank you to Isaiah's care providers including: Ingrid Larson and staff, Dr. Jenni Linebarger, Samantha Allen, Cyndi Lueckenotto, Linda Sharp, Nathan Apple, Dr. Kimberly Hartman, Dr. Gina Jones, Brenda Kehler, and Isaiah's team at the Kansas City Hospice House. 

Jesus called us to not hide our light, and Isaiah had a light that could not be hidden - his light shined even in the darkest days. Isaiah made a lasting impact on many lives with his smile and perseverance. He gave us inspiration that no matter the trials of life, we should keep shining our light to help others see the beauty in all things. He accomplished a life's work in a very short amount of time. 

There will be a visitation service on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 10:00am at the Dickey Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri. Funeral services to follow at 11:30am. A private graveside service will be held in Galena, Missouri on Sunday, July 3, 2016. The family asks that you please honor Isaiah's life by wearing bright colors.

Henry County woman seriously injured in Benton County crash

On 7/1/16 around 4:30am the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Benton County responded to a once vehicle accident on Old 65 Highway and North Lincoln Road in rural Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2004 Mercury Mountaineer driven by 51 year old Traci L.Adams-Howell of Windsor, Missouri failed to negotiate a left hand turn causing the vehicle to travel off the roadway striking a ditch and overturning.

Traci L. Adams-Howell sustained serious injuries in this accident and she was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

The vehicle received extensive damage in the accident and was towed from the scene by Tolliver's Tow.



Obituary - Ehrle Francis Goth

Funeral mass for Ehrle will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Montrose, Missouri at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016. Officiant at Mass will be Father Matt Rotert.

Visistation will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Montrose, Missouri from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Montrose, Missouri

The family suggests in lieu of flowers the memorial donations be made to: St. Mary’s Cemetery or Knights of Columbus

Ehrle Francis Goth, 85, one of eleven children, was born January 12, 1931 in Montrose, Missouri to Rufus B. and Mary Ann (Rotert) Goth. Ehrle passed away peacefully Wednesday June 29, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

He spent his formative years in the Montrose area, until he moved to Kansas City seeking employment. For thirty years Ehrle labored on the General Motors assembly line at the Leeds plant in Kansas City, where he retired in 1985. He eagerly moved back home to Montrose. Since then he enjoyed many days hunting and fishing while able. Furthermore, Ehrle was an avid outdoorsman, who spent a great deal of time chopping wood and working in his garden. Yet the community remembers him most for the numerous amount of miles he drove around on gravel roads in the rural Montrose area, always giving a warm smile and cheerful wave to passersby. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Erhle is preceded in death by his parents, Rufus B. and Mary Ann (Rotert) Goth; and three brothers: Adrian, Ralph, and Herbert Goth; two sisters-in-law: Helen and Pat Goth; two brothers-in-law: Jerome Young and Herbert Fechtel. Survivors include three brothers: Wilfred Goth of Marcus, Iowa, Ludger Goth (Leota) of Montrose, Missouri, and Phil Goth (Betty) of Clinton, Missouri; four sisters: Rosemary Fechtel of Westphalia, Missouri, Helena Strope (Ed), of Deepwater, Missouri, Evelyn Young of Kansas City, Missouri, and Diann Richter (Mike) of Warrensburg, Missouri; and twenty-five nieces and nephews, along with all the friends who had the privilege of knowing Ehrle.
