On 7/6/16 around 9:00pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Henry County along with Henry County Sheriffs Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on Route E and County Road NE 1281 road in rural Henry County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2014 Chevrolet driven by 64 year old John C. Dick of Windsor, Missouri traveled off the left side of the roadway traveling through a ditch and striking a fence.
Mr. Dick sustained minor injuries in this accident and he refused medical treatment at the scene of the accident.
The vehicle received moderate damages and was towed from the scene by Jay's Towing.

Stolen: Olive green 2002 Honda Foreman Rubicon Fourtrax Model TRX500FA.
The ATV was Stolen last week from a family farm between Butler and Appleton City.

Obituary - Priscilla M. Schuster

Priscilla was raised in Massachusetts and graduated from Milton High School in 1942. Prior to graduation she had begun working for the John Hancock Insurance Company in Boston where she continued to work for several years.
In 1942 she met Gordon Schuster at the U.S.O. in Boston where she was a hostess and he was in the U.S. Navy. They were engaged in 1945 and married on September 28, 1946 in the Congregational Church in Milton, MA. In 1956 the family moved to Anaheim, CA where Gordon had taken a new job. They later moved to Yorba Linda, CA and then to Arizona in 1973 when Gordon became involved in the construction business. They continued to live in Arizona until 2002 when they came to Nevada, MO to be near their daughter Pam and husband Craig.
Priscilla was very active in the United Methodist Church especially while in Yorba Linda where she was the United Methodist Women President, was on the Church Council, and later served as the Wedding Hostess there. She was currently a member of the United Methodist Church in Nevada. Priscilla and Gordon enjoyed family camping trips and traveling. The most important things in her life were her family and her dedication to God. She dearly loved her whole family and was blessed with and very proud of them.
Survivors include one son, Robert Schuster and his wife Cheryl of Spokane, WA, one daughter, Pam Hayes and her husband Craig of, Nevada, daughter-in-law, Linda Schuster, Peoria, AZ, 10 grandchildren Jenny Schuster, Jeremy Schuster, Nathaneal Schuster, and Aletha Schuster, all of Arizona, Sarah Vickers and her husband, Derek, of Spokane, WA, Steven Smith and wife Samantha of Arizona, Debbie Nix and husband Matt, Ft. Smith, AR, Mary Wilson and husband Mark, Nevada, MO, C.J. Hayes and his wife Jill, Carl Junction, MO, and Andy Hayes and his wife Emily, Nevada, MO, 19 great-grandchildren, one sister Janette Swan of Milton, MA, and several nieces and nephews. Priscilla was preceded in death by her husband Gordon, one son Richard Schuster, and one sister, Alberta Sawyer.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 8, 2016 at the United Methodist Church in Nevada with Rev Sharon Freeman officiating.
In lieu of flowers those who wish may contribute in Priscilla’s memory to the Nevada United Methodist Women in care of Ferry Funeral Home.
She will be laid to rest at a later date in the Arizona Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery with her beloved husband Gordon.
Harrisonville man injured after his vehicle strikes tree in Cass County
Around 6:40pm on 7/5/16 the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with the Cass County Sheriffs Office responded to a one vehicle accident on Missouri 291 Highway just North of 215th Street in rural Cass County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2007 Ford Van driven by 78 year old Vance R. Lee of Harrisonville, Missouri traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Mr. Lee sustained minor injuries in this accident and he was transported by Central Cass EMS to Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville for treatment.
The van was totaled and towed from the scene by Johnson's Tow.
